SumUp offers a fantastic solution to small businesses that would like to take payments on the fly. Perfect for those who attend markets or fairs with their products. With a SumUp card reader you can take card payments using chip & pin, magnetic swipe and contactless methods with only 1.69% of each transaction going to SumUp. Circle aim to make payment as easy as sending a text. It may not be the ideal payment solution for general custom but if you have to make or receive online payments to the same people on a regular basis, this could be a god send. The reason it easily makes this list is for its ease of use, fast interface and the fact it's a completely free service. 

A few words from the Circle website will explain in a nutshell, what it's all about.

Due is another option when accepting payments online but makes this list for a different reason. You can set up recurring payment options that act like direct debits for your service or product. Ideal for a monthly subscriptions! Other platforms such as PayPal and Stripe offer these services but also come at a cost... Monthly fee's, transaction fees and a percentage of your sales would soon be eating into your profits. Due keeps things simple by asking 2.8% processing fee from each transaction, that's it.

This service would be ideal for monthly memberships, subscription boxes or for discount loyalty opportunities if you own a salon or cafe.

PWAT is a brilliant solution for boosting your social media engagement. If you offer a free service you could ask people to Pay With A Tweet instead, this means your audience would have to share your content via social media before they can read, view or download the product. This could be particularly useful if you're trying to promote a discount code, meaning more people will be stumbling across your promotion.

BMC is a useful service that allows you to accept donations on your website. People can visit your page or click a custom button like I have placed below and reward you. There isn't actually any coffee involved... unfortunately. Instead the donations are fixed to the value of a coffee, meaning the creator can buy one if they wish. 

This could be really useful for non-profit organisations that rely on donations to fund their website hosting for example. A few donations may help keep the website live for another year. Or maybe a blog can pay to have more guest writers using the funds made via BMC. You could even help a free magazine to fund their next print run. The possibilities are endless!
